Roberta Nole is the inventor of the 24 foot-typing algorithm that is the basis of the RX24 QuadraStep System™.
Since 1989 she has owned Stride Custom Orthotics and Pedorthic Center
in Middlebury, CT, specializing in biomechanical gait examination and
rehabilitation of the foot and ankle. She has developed an educational
training program entitled Clinical Analysis of 24 Adult Foot Types.
She lectures nationally on her novel foot typing and video gait
analysis methods. She is a published author on this subject in
Orthotics & Prosthetics in Rehabilitation, Butterworth
and Heinmann, Boston, 2000.

Roberta Nole is owner of Stride™, Inc. Custom Foot Orthotics, Stride Physical Therapy & Pedorthic Center, and Nolaro24™, LLC (Middlebury, CT). She is a graduate of the University of Scranton (B.S. 1982); the University of Connecticut (M.A. Sports Medicine, 1984; and, B.S. in Physical Therapy, 1994); and received her training in Pedorthics at Northwestern University through the Board for Certification in Pedorthics (1992), now currently credentialed by ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics).
Nole has developed a clinical specialty in biomechanics of the foot and ankle and orthotic treatment, and has been lecturing and practicing in this area since 1986. She is an advanced fabricator of custom and non-custom foot orthoses and conducts both adult and pediatric gait clinics. Nole has authored on the biomechanical foot examination process in Orthotics & Prosthetics in Rehabilitation (Butterworth and Heinmann, Boston, 2000) and is the inventor of the novel 24 foot-typing clinical algorithm presented in her courses, as well as the RX24 Quadrastep System™ (U.S. patent pending 11/377,053).
Nole’s basic and advanced level educational programs are based on her original technology. She lectures nationally on her foot classification methodology, including the utilization of visual weight bearing assessment and video gait analysis. She is a member in good standing of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Pedorthic Footwear Association.

Dr.
DeCaro is in private practice with three offices located throughout the
Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. Specializing in biomechanics and
pediatrics, he conducts an Adult Gait Analysis Clinic and a
Podopediatric Clinic at a local hospital in Northampton, MA. Dr. DeCaro
has successfully integrated the QuadraStep System™ 24 foot typing model into
the treatment of his patients, which has helped his practice to grow.
The QuadraStep System™ has helped his patients to have a better
understanding of biomechanics and the importance of orthotic support.
Joe Coletta, C.Ped.

A
Certified Pedorthist since 1993, Joe specializes in biomechanical foot
evaluation and fabrication. He is Director of Education and
Training for Stride, Inc. and the RX24 Quadrastep Orthotic System™. He
is a graduate of Maria College of Albany (A.A.S. Physical Therapist
Assistant), and the Pedorthics Program of Ball State in Muncie, IN.
He works and lectures extensively for Stride, Inc. Custom Foot
Orthotic Laboratory on the subject of foot biomechanics, evaluation
methods and orthotic design. He is currently assisting in the
research and development of a unique classification method for
assessing adult foot types, at Quinnipiac University. He is a
member in good standing of the Pedorthic Footwear Association. As a
father of two young boys, Joe can be found on the local little league
fields coaching his sons when he is not working. |
